Mumbai – Police have arrested 12 persons in connection with Bhima Koregaon violence, including three minors. Arrests are made from Bhima Koregaon, Sansawadi and Kondhapuri. The court has sent them to police custody for two days. During the interrogation of the arrested people, police will try to find out how the violence happened, what is the exact reason for stone pelting, was the mob provoked for violence, etc.
Police have not made the names of arrested people public. Though the peace is prevailing in Bhima Koregaon, the names are withheld keeping law and order situation in mind. Meanwhile Pune Rural Police has submitted its report to district administration.
